Who processes your data
Data submitted through this site is processed by the Dancesport Network Bulgaria team — an independent information and communication platform for dancesport in Bulgaria. For questions about your personal data, write to info@dancesportnetwork-bg.com.
What data we collect
Personal data is collected on the “Contact” page through the contact form. It sends your name, email address, chosen subject and message text by email to the platform team; the content of the message stays in the recipient's mailbox. The form requires explicit consent before it can be sent.
If you tick the separate “notifications about new events” box, your email address (and name, if entered) is stored in a notifications list in the site's database, solely so that you receive a message when a new event is added to the calendar. Every such email contains a one-click unsubscribe link; you can also request erasure at any time at the address below. The box is not ticked by default.
Profiles in the network — clubs and coaches
Club profiles contain information about the organisation (name, description, disciplines, training halls and timetables, photos and contact details), provided by the club itself or with its consent. Clubs keep their profile up to date themselves through a personal panel; signing in uses the club's email address and one-time links, and every change is logged so it can be reviewed.
A coach profile (name, photo, short biography, qualifications and public contact details) is published once the coach has submitted it or agreed to it. A club's timetable may show just the name of the coach who leads a group, as part of the training information the club provides. If you are a coach and do not wish to be listed, write to us and we will remove your name or profile.
We occasionally send service emails to the clubs and coaches in the network — for example an invitation to sign in to their panel or a note about a new feature in their profile. We do not send advertising. If you would rather not receive such emails, reply to us and we will not write again.
The registration systems of partner competitions (e.g. Christmas Magic) may send us, over a secure connection, the details of a coach's account (name, club, city, country, email and phone) to check whether they have a profile in the network. We use them only for that check, for a service email to the coach and — if the coach asks for it — for a request for a new profile or for access. We never receive competitors' data.
Cookies and third parties
The site uses no tracking or advertising cookies. Fonts, images and scripts are served from the site's own server. For overall visit statistics (which pages are viewed) we use GoatCounter — a cookie-free service that does not store IP addresses or identify individual visitors. The “Directions” buttons lead to Google Maps only when you tap them.
Retention
Messages from the contact form are kept in the mailbox for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up correspondence, after which they are deleted. Data in the notifications list is kept until you unsubscribe or request its erasure. Club and coach profiles are kept while they are part of the network or until you ask for their removal. Deleted content is kept in a trash for up to 30 days, and backups for up to 60 days, after which it is erased automatically.
Your rights
- Access to the data we process about you;

- Erasure of the data (“the right to be forgotten”);
- Withdrawal of consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before that;

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at info@dancesportnetwork-bg.com. We reply within 30 days; a request to remove a profile takes it off the site as soon as we have confirmed the request comes from you.
